The rat was hungry, so he decided to walk into Charleston's to eat.  He went in through the side door because the front was too crowded. The tables were all full so he just went straight to the kitchen to ask the chef for food. He scurried up to the foot of the chef and the chef screamed. This wasn't an ideal situation for the health standards of the restaurant.  The chef chased the rat instead of giving him food. The rat was confused, he was harmless and hungry. He ran back outside and saw a family leaving with a to-go box. The little boy in the family gave the rat his left over chicken strips. 6 word: Picturing the mouse from Disney's Ratatouille  Mouse in the kitchen, via  source

Another boring day stuck sitting by the pond watching her sister read. It's not that Alice didn't enjoy books, but she thought being out in nature was meant for more than books. She sat, and sat, and sat some more. After minutes that felt like days of sitting, she noticed something moving out of the corner of her eye. She thought to be imagining it, as her boredom had been getting worse, but when she looked over she saw a spiffy dressed rabbit checking his watch and hopping passed them. Now THIS is not boring, a creature doing the abnormal. She chased after the rabbit, and barely caught up to it as it scurried down a rabbit hole.     Alice quickly turned around, seeing her sister unmoved and still reading, and quickly followed the rabbit down the hole. She fell down the hole for a long time, on what seemed like a slide. The walls around her were colorful and patterned, which excited Alice as she expected adventure ahead. She fell for what seemed like an eternity, and she

Don't worry, cows can breathe in space.  Six-Word Stories: Oh, to be a kid again. The Cow Jumped Over the Moon, via  link Authors Notes: I have no idea why, but the old nursery rhyme The Cow Jumped Over the Moon  was literally the only thing I could think about when trying to make a story. Since that was where my brain was taking me, this is a short choppy drabble that is an alternate take on that rhyme. It made me feel like a kid again, and I expressed that through the six-word story.
